Our vision is to create healthy, sustainable communities throughout City of Alameda from the people up!
Our community development strategy is an inter-generational strategy called #Familyhood.
Since most people who were born and raised in Alameda attended school in Alameda, #Familyhood defines schools as the hub for community development in its attempt to recruit each generation common to a school to participate in the planning, operation and management of the schools garden, farmers market and future grocery store.

#Familyhood attempts to strengthen the school from within by emphasizing the school aggressively recruit students to participate in the schools Student Government Association, while parents join the Parent Teacher Association, while alumni join the Alumni Association. The collaboration of these three main membership based organizations along with local, community partners is defined as the school’s #Familyhood.
